Mobile Overview


The Tracknicity Mobile App is used to check out/in items to clients, check project budget hours, send requests, and receive stock items into inventorty. Read about these individual aspects below.


  1. Checkout

    • Also known a transaction, this feature is used to move stock items from Inventory to a Customer:Job or vice versa.

  2. Projects

    • In the mobile app, the projects list on the Dashboard is automatically populated. See below for the criteria:
      1. Customer:Job is Active in QuickBooks
      2. Customer:Job has an Estimate in QuickBooks (this assumes the estimate has budgetary hours for that job.)
    • To remove a project from the mobile app that is no longer in process, simply mark the job inactive in QuickBooks.

  3. Requests

    • When a request is submitted, users who are setup to receive them will be notified via a push notification on their mobile device. At this point they can go and acknowledge the request, set an ETA data, and change the status.
    • Anytime a request is edited, the user who submitted the request is notified of the update via push notification.

  4. Receive Items to Stock

    • To quickly add inventory to stock, use the receive items functionality in the mobile app. You can quickly choose the location to receive against, scan items, and adjust quantity to increase.
